The One Who pretends to go farther

Ben Shiller Jacob When we explore Gospels, specifically in Mark and John, we see in two contexts where Jesus acted in a similar fashion which didn’t make any sense to his disciples at that point. We notice Jesus’ special action one in Mark chapter 6 when Jesus walked on the water and another one in […]

God Is Willing But Are We?

God has an extraordinary plan for your life, a plan that is far greater than anything you could imagine. He desires to use you in powerful ways, to accomplish His divine purposes through your unique gifts and talents.

But here’s the question: Are you willing? Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone, to surrender your fears, and to embrace the calling that God has placed on your life?

The Bible tells us that God is seeking those who are willing to be used by Him. He’s not looking for the perfect person, but for someone who is open to His leading and willing to follow His direction.

How Does Sin Become Habitual in One’s Life? Part 1

Imagine a well-worn path in a forest. At first, it’s just a faint trail, barely noticeable. But with each passing foot, it becomes deeper, wider, and more defined. Eventually, it’s a well-trodden path that seems almost impossible to stray from. This is a metaphor for how sin can become habitual in our lives.

Initially, a sinful thought or action might seem fleeting, a momentary lapse in judgment. However, as we repeat these actions over time, they begin to solidify into patterns of behavior. Our brains, wired for efficiency, form neural pathways that reinforce these habits, making them easier to follow and harder to resist.

Enjoying Slavery Wholeheartedly

Ben Shiller Jacob Are we Christians enjoying the full freedom in Christ Jesus? Or half of the freedom? at least to wobble enough? When we say we are free, deep down in our heart, undoubtedly, we know we are not. Why? Was the Gospel of Jesus Christ a lie when the Scriptures declare we will
